Russia's Gazprom signed three contracts to supply natural gas to Georgia in 2007 at the price of 235 dollars per 1,000 cubic meters. Georgia will purchase 1.1 billion cubic meters of gas, deputy chairman of Gazprom's board Alexander Medvedev said. Georgia will pay for the Russian gas in cash; no exchange of assets is envisioned. Medvedev expressed concern over the fact that the contract on gas supply to Armenia via Georgia has not been signed yet.
