Forty-four children have been hospitalised with food poisoning in two villages of Chukotka
Forty-four children have been hospitalised with food poisoning in two villages of Chukotka, the Emergencies Ministry’s regional department told Itar-Tass on Friday. “Forty-four children from a nursery school in Peveka and a boarding school in the village of Ayon were taken to hospitals with food poisoning,” the source said. At present, 13 children remain in hospitals. According to doctors, their condition is satisfactory. “Poor-quality food products are a probable reason for children’s poisoning,” the source said. Law enforcers continue to investigate the incident.
