More than 12 kilograms of heroin have been confiscated from three residents of Surgut, Itar-Tass learnt at the Main Department of the Interior Ministry for the Urals Federal District. “Manager of one of firms, as well as two unemployed men were detained in Naberezhnaya Street in Surgut on Wednesday. While examining their “Zhiguli” car, a batch heroin weighing 12.2 kilograms has been seized,” a representative of the department said. A source of purchase and channels of sale of the drug is being established. Criminal proceedings were instituted. According to the Russian Interior Ministry, over the past 24 hours, police have seized almost 110 kilograms of different drugs, including 88 kilograms of heroin.
