A passenger plane TU-134 heading from Nadym to Surgut ( Western Siberia) has made an emergency landing at Surgut airport at noon Moscow time Tuesday. None of the 37 passengers on board has been hurt, the press and information department of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations told Tass. Fire brigades, rescuers and ambulances were on alert, waiting for the emergency landing at the airport. Luckily, their assistance proved unnecessary. The plane took off from Nadym airport earlier on Tuesday. During the flight an emergency system was activated to warn that the front part of the undercarriage was not safely locked in place. The crew decided to dispose of fuel and make an emergency landing. A special commission is investigating.
