Russian President Vladimir Putin has given a number of instructions on the results of his major press conference, the head of state’s press secretary Alexei Gromov said on Monday. Putin’s press conference with the participation on over 1,000 Russian and foreign journalists was held on February 1. The government, in particular, has been charged with the task to scrutinise the issue of possible introduction in separate industry sectors of additional pension coverage provided by the employer, as an additional guarantee for working in hazardous and difficult conditions. The president also instructed the government to present proposals on the introduction of amendments to the Russian legislation on the improvement of measures to protect intellectual property. The president also asked the government to analyse if there are enough social support measures for families of military servicemen and police officers that died in line of duty and present proposals on their expansion, if necessary. Putin issued an instruction to work out a draft federal law aimed at fighting poaching, including to improve mechanisms of control over the turnover of fish products and protection and reproduction of valuable species of fish. The president also told the government to consider the issue of the establishment of a psychological service for the population.
