The Moscow Khoroshevsky District Court has accepted an appeal lodged by former Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov
The Moscow Khoroshevsky District Court has accepted an appeal lodged by former Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov against the previous court resolution on his dacha Sosnovka-1 although the previous court resolution was already in force. "The court found no grounds to reject the appeal because the documents submitted proved the appeal was filed in due time." Under the existing law a court resolution goes into force ten days after it was passed. Kasyanov had sent the appeal by mail, but the appeal arrived at court too late. On Monday, the court ruled that Kasyanov has the right to appeal the previous resolution because it was not his fault that the appeal reached the court late. In the previous resolution the Khoroshevsky court ruled that Kasyanov should return his dacha Sosnovka-1 into state ownership.
