Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko is meeting Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich
Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko is meeting Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich, the president’s press service said on Tuesday. The subject of the talks is not divulged. Presidential administration chief Viktor Baloga and his deputy Alexander Chaly are attending the meeting. The cabinet of ministers said that Yanukovich went to the president for discussing political situation in Ukraine. On April 6, Yushchenko countersigned by his decree the National Security Councils decision on the financing of early parliamentary elections, ordering the prime minister to ensure the government’s issuing to the Central Election Commission 67.3 million dollars for the conduction of the elections. The council also commissioned the Finance Ministry to add respective changes to the state budget monthly spending. Meanwhile, supporters and opponents of the parliament dissolution are gathering for their rallies in central Kiev. Parliament leader Alexander Moroz said on Tuesday that “it is difficult to take people to the streets, but it is still more difficult to take them off the streets”.
