Portugal reached their first European Championship final when they beat the Netherlands 2-1
Now Portugal will play either Greece or the Czech Republic in the final on Sunday. Portugal dominated the first half and forward Cristiano Ronaldo put them in front with a header from a Deco corner in the 26th minute. Minutes after captain Luis Figo also hit the post with a fine left foot shot. Midfielder Maniche scored a magnificent goal driving the ball from outside the area in the 58th minute. The hosts were the only to score in the whole game, as Portuguese defender Jorge Andrade scored an own goal giving hope Dutch team. But the score didn-t change until the end of game sparking massive celebrations all over Portugal.
