Teenagers suspected of murdering three people have been arrested in Russia's Far Eastern city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur
Teenagers suspected of murdering three people have been arrested in Russia's Far Eastern city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur, local police said Tuesday. Two 15-year-old high school students and a 17-year-old vocational school student are suspected of killing two men and a woman. Their bodies were found in a house after a fire was extinguished there. Forensic experts said they had been stabbed before the fire started. "The suspects have already confessed to the murders, [their] clothes with traces of blood have been confiscated from them," prosecutors said. Investigators said the youngsters came to see their schoolmate April 29 who was out at the time. As they awaited his return, they drank alcohol. When their friend's stepfather told them to leave, they beat him up, then stabbed him, as well as their schoolmate's mother and grandfather, and set the house on fire. The suspects face life imprisonment if convicted.
