Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Naryshkin to achieve progress in trading and economic cooperation with Turkmenistan
Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Naryshkin to achieve progress in trading and economic cooperation with Turkmenistan. Naryshkin is scheduled to take part in a session of the Russian-Turkmen inter-governmental commission later this week. “It must be ensured that such high-level meetings make long strides forward, identify problems that hinder progress, and eliminate them,” Putin said at Monday’s meeting with Cabinet members. “I would like you to look into what was done lately, in the wake of our meeting with Turkmenistan’s president in Ashgabat,” Putin said. He had paid a visit to Turkmenistan on May 11-12.
