Group of unidentified gunmen attacked a special-purpose police base in the North Caucasus Republic of Ingushetia
A group of unidentified gunmen attacked a special-purpose police base in the North Caucasus Republic of Ingushetia in the early hours of Wednesday, wounding several officers. Between five and seven attackers fired at least 20 rocket-propelled grenades on a base in the town of Karabulak to the northeast of the Russian republic's largest city, Nazran. Police returned fire, and the shootout lasted about 40 minutes. Three suspects in the attack were later detained in a nearby car with a large amount of ammunition. The search for other attackers is ongoing
