Criminal proceedings were instituted in connection with an attack on border-guards in Ingushetia
Criminal proceedings were instituted in connection with an attack on border-guards in Ingushetia According to specified data, two unidentified persons fired at boarder-guards of the Nazran border detachment who were checking the territory adjacent to the border detachment. Head of the press service of the Russian Federal Security Service Department for Ingushetia Alexei Shulzhenko told ITAR-TASS about it. According to Shulzgenko, the criminals were staying in a VAZ car of black colour and were wearing masks. He also said that no return fire was opened at them for fear of the fact that local residents living in the area could be injured. As a result of the attack, according to Shulzhenko, 15-year-old local resident Maka Izmailova was injured and died on the way to a hospital. Two border-guards got light injuries. Investigation is underway. Measures to establish and detain the criminals are being taken.
