Abramovich is angree at his team....
Chelsea manager Claudio Ranieri was given a 40-minute dressing-room grilling by owner Roman Abramovich after Wednesday's 1-0 defeat to Liverpool. Chelsea are now the 9/2 third favourites with BlueSq to win the Premiership. Man United lead the betting at 8/11, whilst Arsenal can be backed at 15/8. Chelsea's third defeat in their last five Premiership games has cast a huge shadow over Ranieris Stamford Bridge survival - with Chelsea now seven points adrift of leaders Manchester United. He admitted: "Mr Abramovich is not happy but he is patient. I went out to do an interview and when I came back he was in the dressing room with the players. "But I have a meeting with the owner after every game so this is normal for me. "This is not a good period for us and I have said all along that we are not ready to fight for the title with Manchester and Arsenal. "At the moment we are fighting to build a team but we are not there yet. Tonight was not good for us but I was still very pleased with my players because they tried to give their maximum all the time." Abramovich has spent 111 million pounds (191 million dollars) on players since buying Chelsea for 140 million pounds last July. French midfielder Bruno Cheyrous first Premiership goal clinched victory for Liverpool, who had El-Hadji Diouf sent off near the end for two yellow cards. It was Liverpools first win at Stamford Bridge for 15 years and relieved the pressure on Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier who admitted it was an "ugly" win. "Chelsea are a great technical team but they are going through a bad patch. We came here with a plan and made them look ordinary," Houllier added.
