South Ossetian Interior Minister has said that the Georgian side is using Chechen-Kistin instructors in the Georgian-Ossetian conflict zone
South Ossetian Interior Minister Robert Guliyev has said that the Georgian side is using Chechen-Kistin instructors in the Georgian-Ossetian conflict zone. According to operative sources, a few days before the provocative actions of the early hours of July 30, three Chechen-Kistin instructors walked along all the positions of Georgian subdivisions and gave them the necessary instructions, Mr. Guliyev said in an interview with RIA Novosti. According to the minister, the events of July 30 confirm once again that these subdivisions are now well-coordinated, and the fire opened from the Tamareshi settlement in three directions at South Ossetian positions proves that these bandit formations in South Ossetia include ethnic Chechens. Robert Guliyev added that Kistin people - ethnic Chechens - had been seen among members of illegal bandit formations, living in the Pankisi Gorge and in the Kakhi district of Georgia. They were seen in places where Georgians live, i.e. the 9-km zone of the Joint Forces' peacekeeping responsibility in the Georgian-Ossetian conflict, said Mr. Guliyev.
