Russian Railways sees no problem of Yukos oil transportation
Russian Railways had no problems of Yukos oil transportation in the Chinese direction. The railway company has always received transportation payments in time and forecasts no aggravation of the situation in the future regardless of the developments in Yukos itself, the Russian Railways press service said. Russian Railways is convinced that all agreements of March 27 will be implemented. In March Yukos and Russian Railways signed an agreement on volumes of oil transportation in China's direction for the next three years. In compliance with the agreement, Russian Railways is to carry 6.4 million tons of Yukos oil in 2004, 8.5 million in 2005 and 15 million in 2006. Russian Railways transported to China 531,200 tons of Yukos oil in April 2004, 599,900 tons in May, 636,000 tons in June, 669,300 tons in July and 218,100 tons in the first ten days of August.
