An international flower and garden show opens at Moscow's VVTs national exhibition center on September 2
The event has been organized by the Russian Agriculture Ministry, the Construction Department of the Industry and Energy Ministry, the Federal Agency for Construction, Housing and Public Utilities, Moscow City Hall, and the VVTs. Flowers, plants, and gardening equipment will be displayed in an area of 26,000 square meters. Over 500 companies from 23 countries across the world are coming to Moscow to take part in the show. Among the participants will be florists' unions and associations from Russia, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Latvia, Columbia, Poland, France, and Ecuador, to give just a few examples. A whole number of workshops, panel discussions, and presentations will be held on the show's sidelines. All kinds of contests and competitions are also envisaged. The show will run through September 6, at Pavilion 69, the VVTs press center has announced.
