President of North Ossetia Alexander Dzasokhov intends to dismiss the government of the republic.
"I have to infirm you of the following. Within the next two days a decree will be issued in accordance with which the government will be dismissed," Dzasokhov said addressing the participants in the rally in Vladikavkaz in front of the government house. These words were met with applause of those gathered in the square. "We will do this because there are many difficult problems for which we should try to find a better solution," Dzasokhov added. He said that on Saturday a high-level state commission would arrive in the republic to probe into all circumstances of the terrorist act in Beslan. In his words, the commission will try to investigate how the militants with weapons managed to infiltrate the republic's territory. "The Commission will also examine the activity of those in office and the guilty persons will be punished," Dzasokhov said. "I say that I will demand that, irrespective of the post held, all those who are responsible for what had happened, including the interior minister (of North Ossetia) should be called to the account," he stressed. In his words, an independent commission will also be set up by the State Duma. Thus, two commissions will be working - the independent and the state," Dzasokhov said. "I promise that you will be informed on these issues," the president of North Ossetia assured the participants in the meeting.
