Vladimir Putin has ordered his authorized representative in the Southern Federal District Dmitry Kozak to form a public committee to help Beslan
Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered his authorized representative in the Southern Federal District Dmitry Kozak to form a public committee to help Beslan. Beslan is our main problem today, the President said at the meeting with Mr. Kozak on Tuesday. "Many proposals to help Beslan are coming across Russia and from abroad, first of all, in social sphere, the building of hospitals, schools and other objects. A public committee to regulate this work should be formed in this connection," Mr. Putin noted. The head of state asked the authorized representative to consider the committee's staff and involve ten well-known, respected and competent persons. Dmitry Kozak should participate in the committee's work, as well, Vladimir Putin added. "You should not only control the use of material resources but also summarize all proposals and make final decisions to help people," the President said. "The decisions should be grounded and comply with the government's plans," the head of state noted. Vladimir Putin expects Dmitry Kozak experience in the presidential and government staffs to contribute to his effective work on the new post of the President's authorized representative in the Southern Federal District. Yesterday Vladimir Putin appointed Dmitry Kozak to this post. "You will have more authorities as well as bear grave responsibility," the President stressed.
