In January-November 2007 the M2 money supply increased by 35.2%, from 8.996 trillion rubles ($365 billion) as of January 1, 2007.
In 2006, the M2 money supply grew 32.6% in the same period.
The M2 money supply in the Central Bank's broad definition includes total cash in circulation (outside banks) and balances in the domestic currency on accounts of resident non-financial organizations and individuals.
