Russia's Svetlana Kuznetsova has regained second place in the new Women
Russia's Svetlana Kuznetsova has regained second place in the new Women Tennis Association (WTA) ratings, published on Monday.

Kuznetsova lost second position in the WTA ratings to Serbia's Ana Ivanovic following the 2008 Australian Open in Melbourne in January.

The 22-year-old Russian is again World No. 2, however, boasting 3760 points, while Ivanovic, 20, is once more third with 3758 points.

The rest of the top ten has not changed and looks as follows: 1. Justine Henin, Belgium (6830 points); 4. Jelena Jankovic, Serbia (3695); 5. Maria Sharapova, Russia (3061); 6. Anna Chakvetadze, Russia (2835); 7. Venus Williams, the United States (2720); 8. Daniela Hantuchova, Slovakia (2687); 9. Marion Bartoli, France (2198); 10. Serena Williams, the United States (2022).
