The Russian latest carrier rocket Soyuz-2 has been brought to the Plesetsk cosmodrome
The first test flight is planned for October 29, the spokesman for the space centre told RIA Novosti. "We have received it within the planned timeframe. The carrier rocket left the Progress design office, based in Samara, on October 6", he said. During two weeks in September, twenty four officers from the testing centre did training at the Progress office. "They have all been qualified for work at the launch complex. Before it was moved to Plesetsk, Soyuz-2 had passed the acceptance tests by the cosmodrome officials", the interviewee said. Now, preparations for technical tests are over. Operational and verification tests, assembly of basic systems are under way at the launch complex
