The State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said crude production in the country shrank 0.2% in the reporting period to 121 million metric tons (886 million barrels) while sales (refining) on the domestic market grew 5.8% to 59.5 million metric tons (436 million barrels).
Crude exports accounted for 35.5% of Russia's total exports and 50.9% of the country's fuel and energy product exports, Rosstat said.
