Russian and Austrian relations develop positively on a high level of political contacts as well as in the various spheres, in European and international affairs, Russian Vice Premier Alexander Zhukov said on Thursday at the meeting with Austrian Vice Chancellor, Minister for Traffic, Innovations and Technologies Hubert Gorbach. "We have no serious political problems, while certain existing questions can be easily settled," Mr. Zhukov said. Mr. Gorbach in his turn noted that Russia and Austria established outstanding friendly relations and it's important for Austrian people to develop them further. Mr. Zhukov expressed Russia's interest in diversification of bilateral economic relations so that machine and technical products will play an important role, a source in the minister's staff told journalists following the meeting. A bilateral commission on cooperation works on a number of measures sufficient for the achievement of these tasks, including in the sphere of aviation, Mr. Zhukov noted. Moreover, the sides also agreed on the exposition in Vienna of the State Treaty for the Re-establishment of Independent and Democratic Austria.
