On Monday, a senior student dressed like a suicide bomber and armed with a knife tried to take second graders at a Moscow school hostage
She was disarmed and taken to a psychiatric hospital. Doctors say that the incident is the girl's traumatized reaction to the Beslan school massacre, Novye Izvestia reports. The 2A class had just begun a math lesson when the 10th grader dressed in black rushed into the room. "She put a big bag on the floor, took out a knife and shouted that she wanted to take hostages," pupils said. "She rushed towards the desk and thrust the knife at a boy. He started back, then she seized another girl, and we started screaming." The teacher snatched the little girl from the senior's arms. The "terrorist" then seized a different girl and put the knife to her neck. This time the teacher managed to disarm her, but both the little girls received small cuts on their faces and necks. The 16-year-old lives with her father and does well at school, but the odd thing is that she always wears black. Her peers prefer not to mix with her, while younger pupils always try to tease her. Expects believe that such events should be expected after all Russian schoolchildren took the Beslan tragedy to heart. Psychologists call these people secondary victims. The difficult situation has caused many emotional problems even for normal schoolchildren. A child's state, as well as behavior may change with time, but if he or she does not receive timely assistance, post-trauma phases will be repeated endlessly
