Olive Riley, born in 1899, passed away in a nursing home in New South Wales on Saturday after spending more than a week there.
Since February last year, Riley has posted more than 70 entries on her Life of Riley blog, which she jokingly called her "blob," sharing her thoughts about life through the entire 20th century. She also posted clips of her singing and talking on YouTube.
Riley, who had lived through two world wars, "had people communicating with her from as far away as Russia and America on a continual basis, not just once in a while," her great grandson Darren Stone said.
"It was mind blowing to her,'' he told the national AAP news agency.
In her final post, dated June 26, Riley wrote that she couldn't "shake off that bad cough'' but sang "a happy song" as she did "every day."
