The Central Bank of Russia is to issue a commemorative three-ruble coin November 4
This coin in the "Russia's Architectural Monuments" series depicts the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady in the Tver region, reads a press release of the Central Bank's external and public-relations department. Each coin contains 31.1 grams of 900-grade silver. The 39-mm round coin has a ribbed surface. The coin's obverse side features the official Bank of Russia relief, i.e. a two-headed eagle with drooping wings; the semi-circular "Bank Of Russia" inscription can be seen below. Meanwhile its reverse side depicts a relief of the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady in the Tver region. The upper semi-circular inscription reads "The Church Of The Nativity Of Our Lady In Gorodnya"; meanwhile the lower inscription says "The Tver Region". All in all, 8,000 coins will be minted. This coin is legal tender for all debts, public or private, and must therefore be accepted during any payments and settlements without any restrictions whatsoever
