Russian wholesale power generating company OGK-4 said on Thursday
Russian wholesale power generating company OGK-4 said on Thursday its net profit calculated to Russian Accounting Standards increased 150% year-on-year in January-September to 3.45 billion rubles ($130 million).

Third-quarter net profit grew almost fourfold, quarter-on-quarter, to 1.93 billion rubles ($73 million), the power generating company said.

OGK-4, which has total installed generation capacity of 8.63 GW, attributed its third-quarter net profit growth to increased electricity output and lower profit tax.

OGK-4 incorporates five thermal power plants - one in Western Siberia, one in the Far East, two in central Russia, and one in the Perm Territory in the Urals.

Germany's E.ON Russia Power GmbH controls 76.09% of OGK-4.
