Tatneft, one of Russia's top ten crude producers, said on Wednesday its net profit under Russian Accounting Standards grew 11% in January-September from the same period last year to 38.7 billion rubles ($1.4 billion).

Revenues in the reporting period climbed 38% to 196.32 billion rubles ($7.27 billion), gross profit grew 36% to 76.83 billion rubles ($2.8 billion) and operating profit increased 37% to 67.33 billion rubles ($2.5 billion).

Tatneft, which accounts for 80% of oil output in Russia's Volga Republic of Tatarstan, produced 25.9 million metric tons (190 million bbl) of oil in 2007 or about 5% of Russia's total crude output.
