A two-headed kitten, that had been born in Western Australia earlier
A two-headed kitten, that had been born in Western Australia earlier this week, died last night, local media said on Saturday.

The tiny kitten, which was one of three born in Perth on Wednesday as a "result of a congenital deformity," died "after asphyxiating on fluid in its lungs," theage.com.au has reported.

The other kittens were born without any deformities.

"He was taken home and died near its mother," Swan Veterinary Clinic vet nurse Lesley Bolton said.

The kitten, slated to be named Quasi Modo or Mr Men, ate out of just one mouth but meowed both its mouths.

Earlier doctors said that the newborn had "a full tummy" and "seemed content."
