Russia's Alexander Ovechkin and Yevgeny Malkin, followed by Canada's Joey McDonald, have been named the NHL's 'Top Three' for November, the hockey league's official website said on Tuesday.

Washington Capitals left-wing Ovechkin, the top NHL scorer this season, tops the list with 25 points, coming from 11 goals and 14 assists. The Russian striker, who was named NHL's 2007 most valuable player, helped the club to its best November record since 1996, with eight victories, five draws and two defeats.

Malkin, who plays center for Pittsburgh Penguins, garnered 23 points, with seven goals and 16 assists. He helped the club a record of nine victories, two draws and one defeat.

McDonald, who goaltenders for New York Islanders, made 14 consecutive starts between November 3 and 29, posting a 0.916 save percentage. He also posted a season high record of 38 saves in a match on November 15, helping his club to a 3-2 victory over Ottawa Senators.
