Fifty people have been selected, of whom 12 jury members will be named and four other people will stand by.
The Moscow City Court is selecting jury members for the trial of the case related to the murder of State Duma Deputy Sergei Yushenkov, who was also a co-chairman of the Liberal Russia Party, a source in the Court told ITAR-TASS on Monday. Fifty people have been selected, of whom 12 jury members will be named and four other people will stand by. Six persons have been charged with the murder. The main defendants are Mikhail Kodanyov, the leader of the breakaway part of Liberal Russia, and his aide Alexander Vinnik. Sergei Yushenkov was killed near the entrance to his house in Svoboda Street in Moscow on April 17, 2003.
