A truck with a load of concrete was stopped at the border city of Panj and a search revealed that it was carrying over 22 kg (48.5 lbs) of heroin and 8 kg (17.6 lbs) of raw opium.

A criminal case was launched. The owner and intended recipient of the drugs are being established.
