Police have arrested an Estonian national traveling on a train
Police have arrested an Estonian national traveling on a train from Tallinn to Moscow in possession of 62 knives and bayonets, a police spokeswoman said on Monday.

"In the foreigner's sports bag police discovered 62 bladed weapons. Among them were Austrian bayonets and bayonets for Kalashnikov assault rifles, wartime German bayonets and those dated 1895," the spokeswoman said.

Some of the knives and bayonets could be worth around 100,000 rubles ($2,700), she said. The items were to be sold to an unknown collector.

The Estonian man faces up to two years in jail if found guilty of the illegal sale of weapons.
