The company's subsidiaries produced 11.344 billion cubic meters of gas, 27.2% more than in the previous year. Gas output by joint ventures fell 10.6% to 364 million cubic meters.
TNK-BP's oil output last year grew 0.17% to 70.45 million metric tons against 2007. Oil production by joint ventures declined 6.9% to 9.773 million tons.
TNK-BP produces crude in West Siberia, the Volga-Urals region, East Siberia and Sakhalin. The company was established in 2003 through a merger of Russian oil companies TNK, Sidanco, and Onaco and the assets of British oil major BP in Russia and Ukraine.
