Russia's oil exports fell 3.4% year-on-year in January to 20.5 million
Russia's oil exports fell 3.4% year-on-year in January to 20.5 million metric tons (150 million barrels), the country's top statistics body said on Wednesday.

Oil accounted for 35.2% of Russia's exports in the reporting period compared with 38% a year earlier, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said.

Oil production in Russia fell 0.8% year-on-year in January to 41 million metric tons (300.5 million barrels), Rosstat said.

In January, Russia produced 9.66 million barrels of oil (net of gas condensate) per day, compared with 29.54 million barrels produced in total by the OPEC countries, Rosstat said.
