Emergency service officials in Saratov, Russia's Volga Region, attended the death
Emergency service officials in Saratov, Russia's Volga Region, attended the death of a three-year-old boy who was accidently run over by a car driven by a six-year-old, a rescue spokesman said on Tuesday.

The tragedy happened on Monday evening in the yard of a housing complex after the father of the six-year-old handed him the keys to his car and asked him to warm up the engine. However the car was in gear when he started the engine and the vehicle hit the three-year-old playing nearby, killing him instantly.

Police have launched an investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the child's death.
