Head of the Russian Federal Space Agency Anatoly Perminov will fly to Montreal
Head of the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) Anatoly Perminov will fly to Montreal (Canada) on Monday to attend meetings of working groups with participation of the heads of space agencies of the countries-members of the ISS project. According to Roscosmos spokesperson Vyacheslav Davidenko, Mr. Perminov plans to conduct a series of bilateral and multilateral talks during his working visit. The visit will be culminated with an official meeting of the heads of space agencies. Mr. Davidenko also said that among the topics of discussion were the completion of the ISS construction and its further exploitation, the resumption of the flights of American shuttles in May 2005, the preparation for and the launch of a new-generation European cargo transport space vehicle ATV. It is possible that former NASA head Sean O'Keefe, who remains in the office until the appointment of the new NASA administrator, will announce the name of his successor in Montreal.
