Russians played in an All Star Match of the American Hockey League
Three Russians played, yesterday, in an All Star Match of the American Hockey League, the strongest in North American ice hockey for today. On long-established patterns, playing in the star meet was the Canadian team, with no aliens on it, against the Planet USA, on which Americans and Europeans came up side by side. Prominent on it were backs Denis Grebeshkov of Manchester and Anton Volchenkov, Binghampton, and forward Alexander Svitov, Syracuse. The meet, in Manchester, Ky., was a draw, 4-4, before the Planet USA won on penalties. Atlanta, Ga., was to host the match on a previous arrangement, which scheduled it for the day before. Regrettably, the city was locked out to lose the brilliant annual hockey gala.
