Yukos has paid 270.9 billion rubles in terms of additional tax proceeds over the December 2004 - January 2005 period
The press center of the Russian Finance Ministry reported the other day. (One dollar costs 27.99 rubles - Ed.) Among other things, the Yuganskneftegaz sale netted 260.4 billion rubles, the federal treasury reports. All in all, 151.5 billion rubles out of this 270.9-billion-ruble sum were transferred into the federal budget, with territorial budgets receiving 119.4 billion rubles. The company paid 132.891 billion rubles in the form of income-tax proceeds. Value-added tax (VAT) proceeds totalled 137.559 billion rubles. Meanwhile property-tax proceeds stood at 316,651,000 rubles. According to the press release, the stabilization fund did not receive additional Yukos taxes and levies. At the same time, these monies constitute additional budgetary revenues. These sums will be automatically transferred into the Stabilization Fund together with all other federal-treasury account balances at the end of the year, unless the Government decides on additional spending, the press release notes.
