The EXPO-2005 international exhibition is to open in Nagoya, Japan this March

Acting in line with an agreement between Russia and the exhibition's organizing committee, the Sakha-Yakutia republic shall provide souvenirs, due to be sold at the Russian pavilion. This was disclosed to RIA Novosti today at the republican business, tourism and employment ministry. The Sakha-Yakutia republic is located in Eastern Siberia. According to the agency's interlocutor, Yakutia will provide enough souvenirs for the entire six-month exhibition. About 15 million people from 125 countries are to visit EXPO-2005 during this time period. Yakutia has made some top-quality souvenirs. Apart from commercial profits, their sale will provide the world with additional information about our republic, ministerial officials noted.
