About 100 women, top-managers of banks, private, state-run and regional companies of Russia, Italy and Azerbaijan took part in the forum. Four working sessions were held during the Rome forum. They focused both on professional issues, in particular, priorities of financial and economic policy, and global problems of the relations between businessmen and authorities, promotion of social partnership and the role of business in the formation and development of civil society. On Saturday a group of Russian business-ladies received diplomas of the international public recognition which the International Chamber of Commerce presents to its most distinguished members, at a ceremony in Rome. These women were Tatiana Paramonova, First Vice President of the Bank of Russia, and Tatiana Nesterenko, head of the Russian Federal Treasury. They were awarded for their contribution to the development of the Russian banking system and its financial market and the improvement of Russia's economic ties with western partners.
