MOSCOW, February 9. 59% of Muscovites are afraid to ride on the Metro as a result of the bombing on February 6, according to a recent Romir Monitoring survey. Meanwhile, 38% of respondents said that terrorists were not successful in frightening them. According to the survey, the bombing most strongly impacted older people and women. More than 70% of respondents in these categories said they were frightened by the bombings. 46% of Muscovites surveyed said that the bombing could have been averted if the police worked more effectively. 45% said that such bombings can not be averted in principle. 500 Moscow residents took part in the survey.
