KAMAZ plans to deliver 50 trucks to Namibia this year
KAMAZ (Naberezhny Chelny, Tatarstan) plans to deliver 50 trucks to Namibia this year, Marat Shaidullin, a company representative and specialist in sales to Africa, has told journalists, according to the official website of Tatarstan. The delivery is part of an agreement with the Namibian firm, Perfomance Motors, which is the dealer for KAMAZ vehicles in Namibia. The first shipment, of more than 20 vehicles, will be sent shortly, Shaidullin said. Under the agreement, KAMAZ is responsible for technical maintenance and timely supplies of spare parts. KAMAZ products are now available in Ethiopia, Nigeria, Senegal, Guinea and Egypt. Cooperation agreements were reached with Congo and Angola in 2002-2003.
