The Russian government expects 382.7 billion roubles of additional revenue this year
Of those, 111.1 billion roubles will come from the Stabilization Fund, Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin said on Thursday as he was presenting amendments to budget-2005. The additional expenses will serve as means of indexing the items of expenditure, to compensate for inflation, Kudrin said. Following is the breakdown of the sum per budget expenditure item: subsidies to regions in 2006 - 34.4 billion roubles national security -- 43.7 billion roubles national issues -- 30.9 billion roubles national defense -- 18.5 billion roubles national economy -- 11.4 billion roubles social policy -- 10.1 billion roubles education -- 7.6 billion roubles culture and cinematography -- 7 billion roubles health care -- 2.2. billion roubles housing and utilities sector -- 1.5 billion roubles The Finance Ministry is allocating 215.5 billion roubles for inter-budgetary transfers. "We won't change these expenses this year or take new obligations, we won't launch new projects, but continue to meet earlier commitments, foremost in the social sphere," Kudrin said
