The Constantine Palace state complex will host the opening of a Russian-Japanese forum on strategies in information technologies and business on Monday
The Constantine Palace state complex in a suburb of St. Petersburg, Strelnya, will host the opening of a Russian-Japanese forum on strategies in information technologies and business on Monday.During the event, which will mark the 150th anniversary of cooperation between the two countries, the parties will discuss bilateral cooperation in information technologies and consider the potential of the Russian financial market from the standpoint of Japanese financial organizations. Vladimir Matyukhin, head of the Russian Federal IT Agency, Andrei Beskorovainy, head of the Federal Telecommunications Agency, Ilya Khlebanov, presidential envoy to the Northwestern Federal District, and Governor of the Leningrad region Valentina Matviyenko are expected to attend the forum. The Japanese party will be represented by Matsui Hiroshi, a deputy minister for policy coordination of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, Koji Tanami, the deputy governor and managing director of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation, and delegates from Japanese major companies. A university conference on research in international technologies, which will be attended by the heads of Japanese and Russian higher education institutions, will be held as part of the forum, along with a round table on the topic, Next Generation Mobile Technologies. The forum will last until July 15.
