The crew of International Space Station (ISS) is having a problem
The crew of International Space Station (ISS) is having a problem concerning the hatch separating the ISS from the Soyuz spacecraft, a Russian mission control center official said. "The signal that the hatch was closed did not appear on the electronic board. The astronauts were given instructions and the hatch is most likely shut now. But we can specify only after the station enters the radio coverage zone," the official said. The operation redocking the Soyuz spacecraft and the ISS, manned by a crew consisting of Russian cosmonaut Sergei Krikalyov and American astronaut John Fillips, will start at 2:38 p.m. Moscow time. The Soyuz will leave the Pier module and will be manually moved to another docking port by Krikalyov.
