The Russian government will allocate $500 million in 2006 for industrial export support
The Russian government will allocate $500 million in 2006 for industrial export support, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Zhukov said Monday. Speaking about the provision of guarantees for Russian exporters of industrial products Zhukov said "it is important to promote Russian products abroad including on markets of countries with developing economies." He said the budget envisages $500 million in support of Russian manufacturers in the areas of high technologies, energy, nuclear power plant construction and space. Zhukov said the volume of guarantees would be about $500 million, depending on the economic risk in a given country.
