Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov has left for Monaco to support the CSKA football team
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov has left for Monaco to support the CSKA football team, which reports to the Central Sports Club of the Russian Armed Forces, at a game for UEFA Super Cup that the CSKA will play versus Liverpool. When reporters asked him about his predictions for the game, Ivanov declined to make forecasts, but said he felt optimistic about it. “I’m not making forecasts but I have certain optimism, all the more so that Liverpool isn’t in the best of shape now,” Ivanov said. “We really have good chances there.” Itar-Tass also asked him if he would wear the fan’s gear with CSKA symbolic at the game. “I will have some symbolic, but not a garish one,” Ivanov answered.
