Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev might visit Russia in the beginning of September
Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev might visit Moscow in the beginning of September, a Kremlin official said Sunday. "Kyrgyz President Bakiyev might arrive in Moscow on a working visit in the beginning of September," Russian president's aide Sergei Prikhodko told a news conference. He also outlined the schedule for future foreign visits of the Russian president. In September, Vladimir Putin plans to make a working visit to Germany and to participate in the work of the UN General Assembly in New York. "On October 4-5, Vladimir Putin will participate in the Russia-EU summit in London," the presidential aide said. The president also plans to attend the Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Pusan (South Korea), he added. Approximately at the same time, Putin will visit Japan, and conduct an official visit to the Netherlands by the end of this year. "In addition, the Russian president received official invitations from Mikhail Saakashvili and Viktor Yushchenko to visit Georgia and Ukraine, respectively," Prikhodko said.
