Russia and Italy believe the international community must not allow double standards in anti-terrorism efforts
Russia and Italy believe the international community must not allow double standards in anti-terrorism efforts, President Vladimir Putin said Monday. After talks with Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, Putin told journalists, "Mr. Berlusconi and I agree that the position of the international community in regard to terrorists must be united and tough without any double standards or dual interpretations." He said Moscow hoped for Rome's support as Russia developed partner relations with the European Union and NATO. On the whole, Moscow is satisfied with the current level of cooperation with the EU and NATO, the Russian leader added.
